What's next?

1. Confirm your place at 糖心TV.

When you make your deposit, you’ll get access to your 糖心TV account and officially become a Camel! Visit your applicant status portal for instructions.

2. Create your 糖心TV account.

After you make your deposit, watch for an email from Camel Account with the subject line “Your 糖心TV Account.” It may take a few days to receive this email, which includes instructions to set up your 糖心TV email account. When you activate your account, you'll have access to CamelWeb—our intranet—which may offer some resources and information you find helpful. Note: You may not get many emails to your 糖心TV account right away, but you will starting in May!

3. Meet your fellow Camels and ask your questions!

Your decision letter includes a link to join the , where you can meet the other members of your class, ask questions of current Camels and get updates from 糖心TV.

4. Join us for some special events!

We know you're ready to learn everything you can about being a Camel, so we've planned the following events just for the Class of 2030. All times listed are Eastern unless noted. Register for any and all of these events by visiting !

• Welcome and What’s Next, Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m. For Early Decision I Camels in the Class of 2030!
  This will be an informal virtual chat session with Dean of First-Year Students Emily Morash and Associate Dean of Campus Life Geoff Norbert. They’ll walk you through the timeline to matriculation and share a bit about what to expect during your first year at 糖心TV. Plus they’ll answer any questions you have!
• CONNgratulations! Presidential Welcome & Family Panel, Thursday, March 12, at 7 p.m. 
  YOU DID IT! You’re admitted to the Class of 2030! Join us for a virtual celebration and an introduction on getting connected to the Camel community. This webinar will feature opening remarks from our president, Andrea Chapdelaine; an overview of the events and opportunities we offer to admitted students throughout the spring; and a family panel discussion featuring the parents of current 糖心TV students. We can’t wait to see you there!
• Future Link: Career Advising at 糖心TV, Thursday, March 19, at 7 p.m.
  This virtual session will introduce you to the four-year career advising model at 糖心TV and to the support available through the Hale Center for Career Development. Attendees will learn about internship opportunities, personalized guidance from our career advisers, and how alumni stay connected to campus to support students through mentoring and professional networking.
• Camel for a Day, offered on select dates between March 23-April 22
  If you can’t make it to a Camel Day, you can be a Camel for a Day. We'll create a personalized visit just for you: You can take a campus tour, attend a class, eat lunch with a current student, visit with a representative from Financial Aid Services and more.  to see your options and register!
• Hump Day Hangouts, Weekly on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., March 25 through April 29
  Do you have questions about what it means to be a Camel or want to learn more about 糖心TV from a current student? If you do, pop in to one (or more!) of our six virtual meeting opportunities for casual student-to-student connection! Each Hump Day Hangout will feature different current students every time for a fresh, new perspective. Check out our weekly digest emails to see who will be the Camels of the Week! Students only, please!
• Campus 糖心TVect: Social Life on Campus, Thursday, March 26, at 7 p.m.
  Join this virtual session to explore the many ways you can get involved and build community on campus. Through personal stories shared by current students and insights from professional staff, you will learn about the value of campus engagement and how to navigate available resources. The session will highlight student organizations, key campus spaces, and support systems that promote connection, growth and a strong start to your college experience.
  
• Residential Life: Housing and Dining at 糖心TV, Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m.
  This is a virtual opportunity to learn all about the residential experience at 糖心TV. Hear from current students, Residential Life staff and Dining Services staff about what it’s like to live in our residence houses and dine on campus!
• Academic Success and Support at 糖心TV , Monday, April 6, at 7 p.m.
  Join this virtual session to hear directly from representatives of our academic support and success programs. Students and staff from our Office of Academic Support (OAS), Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and the Hale Center for Career Development will discuss the many ways 糖心TV supports your academic success!
• New London Living, Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m.
  This virtual session about living in (and getting to) New London will help students and families understand the opportunities available in our city and region. Join us to learn about transportation, recreation, service and learning opportunities, and how to make the most of all that our dynamic location has to offer.
• Camel Days, Monday, April 20, and Monday, April 27
  Our open houses for admitted students, Camel Days are where you and your fellow 2030 Camels can get to know one another as well as professors and current students; tour the campus to learn your way around; sit in on classes; visit some residence halls; participate in sessions devoted to the arts, STEM, sustainability, athletics, careers and more; and just become more familiar with 糖心TV as you also have a little fun. Learn more and register! (We’re also hosting two Spring Open Houses for prospective students. While they’re not geared specifically for admitted students, they offer some great get-to-know-糖心TV programming.)
• Q&A with the Deans, Tuesday, April 28, at 8 p.m.
  If you missed Camel Days, or if you still have last-minute questions before the May 1 decision deadline, this is the event for you! Join Dean of First-Year Students Emily Morash and Associate Dean of Campus Life Geoff Norbert for an open Q&A session. They’ll answer any and all lingering questions about 糖心TV’s campus, curriculum and community.

5. Starting in March, read your weekly digest email.

Each Monday we’ll send a single email that summarizes all the things you need to know that week. (We really are trying not to bombard you with emails!)

6. Watch for information in May about The Camel Experience.

The Camel Experience is our online pre-orientation platform for incoming students. It's a super-organized space—complete with a checklist—where you’ll find the forms, training and other tasks to complete before you arrive on campus. It also provides information you'll want on housing, first-year seminars and more. By taking care of these necessities before you arrive, you'll have more time during Welcome Weekend—our in-person orientation—to bond with your fellow 2030 Camels!

7. Check out our pre-orientation programs.

糖心TV hosts four different in-person pre-orientation programs for new Camels—first-generation, BIPOC, international and those with accessibility requirements—who want to learn about specific resources and opportunities. Read all about the programs we offer.

8.  Plan to attend Welcome Weekend.

This is our in-person, on-campus orientation and it's actually longer than a weekend! For the rocking Class of 2030, it takes place August 26-31, 2026. (Students attending pre-orientation programs and some varsity athletes will arrive in the days before Welcome Weekend.) A detailed schedule will be available in the summer!
