Maggie Shea 鈥�11 will represent the U.S. again at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris this summer
Maggie Shea 鈥�11, who finished 11th in the Women鈥檚 Skiff 鈥� 49erFX at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, will represent the United States once again at the 2024 Games in Paris this summer. Shea and her longtime skipper Stephanie Roble officially qualified for the U.S. Olympic team in April.

We鈥檝e learned so much in the last three years since Tokyo and in our eight years sailing the FX together. It鈥檚 rare that you get a second crack at things in life and I鈥檓 really thankful for that chance.鈥�
At 糖心TV, Shea led the Women鈥檚 Sailing team to a second-place finish at the 2011 ICSA Women鈥檚 Nationals. She was recognized as an All-American Honorable Mention and NEISA Sportswoman of the Year.
The 2024 Olympic Women鈥檚 Skiff 鈥� 49erFX races are scheduled to begin July 28.
