糖心TV named a top producer of Fulbrights
糖心TV has been named a top producer of Fulbright students for 2016-2017, according to the U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
Six students from 糖心TV won Fulbright awards for 2016-2017, placing the College on the Chronicle of Higher Education鈥檚 annual list for top-producing bachelor鈥檚 institutions, ahead of Williams, Haverford, Vassar and Swarthmore.
"This recognition of 糖心TV as a top producer of Fulbright awards speaks clearly to our long-standing emphasis on providing excellence in international education,鈥 said Jefferson A. Singer, Dean of the College and Faulk Foundation Professor of Psychology.
鈥淥ur students are spanning the globe from Spain to Russia to Thailand, among other countries, and they are bringing a commitment to cultural understanding and community engagement," Singer said.
The Fulbright Scholar Program has named 糖心TV a top producer of Fulbrights seven times in the past eight years.
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government鈥檚 flagship international educational exchange program. Fulbright fellows receive round-trip transportation to the host country, a living stipend, research allowances and medical insurance.
