Students in Professor of Art Andrea Wollensack鈥檚 First-Year Seminar, 鈥淎rt in Real Life,鈥 share their thoughts on the work of artist Werner Pfeiffer during class in the Linda Lear Center for Special Collections and Archives in Shain Library. Foregrounding the idea that experiencing art is subjective, engages multiple senses and involves dialogue, this course presses students to give their full, attentive presence to artworks viewed in real life, not through reproductions.
