A busy campus eases into spring

Triennial Ammerman Symposium on Arts and Technology

New Silfen Grandstand Takes Shape

Crews continue work on the Fran Shields Grandstand at Silfen Track and Field Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The 500-seat grandstand and press box, construction expected to be completed in June 2026, are made possible by a generous gift from Timothy M. Armstrong '93 and Nancy A. Armstrong and the Men's Lacrosse Program in honor of Fran Shields P'14, longtime men's lacrosse coach and athletics director emeritus.

Dancers perform “the shape of the wind,” choreographed by Ava Norris '26 in collaboration with the dancers. Cast members are Biz Carlin '28, Kiera Franciskovich '26, Heide Reeh '27, Jessica Solit '28, Marika Stellwagen '28 and Sam Walker '26. Music included "Wigwam" by Bob Dylan, "Little Martha" by The Allman Brothers Band, "I Know It’s Over (2011 Remaster)" by The Smiths, "Payador" by Tim Hill, "Overs" by Simon & Garfunkel, "White Light" by BADBADNOTGOOD, "Lou’s Tune" by DARGZ and Moses Boyd, and various sound effects.

Ava Norris ’26 and Emily Brankman ’26 present their Senior Honors Thesis dance concert, “fragments of the familiar,” Thursday, March 26, 2026 in Myers Dance Studio.
