Oakes Ames Prize for an Honors Thesis

At the 2008 Commencement, the College's Oakes and Louise Ames Prize was awarded to Scott Kingsland Borchert '08, a double major in English and history, for his honors thesis,

At the 2015 Commencement, the College's Oakes and Louise Ames Prize was awarded to Caroline Lazar '15, an English major with a concentration in creative writing, for her honors thesis, “.” 

Named for a previous president of the College and his wife, the Ames prize is given to a graduating senior who has completed most outstanding honors study.
