Professor of Biology Anne Bernhard has been awarded a two-year, $120,555 grant from the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative to continue her work investigating the effects of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill on the salt marshes of Louisiana.

Kimberly M. Verstandig, a prolific fundraiser with more than 20 years of experience in higher education and the non-profit sector, has been named vice president for College Advancement. The appointment is effective Nov. 6.

Eric Roode, who has served as a campus safety officer at the College for 11 years, was honored Sept. 14 with the American Red Cross Emergency Services Hero Award.

This summer, 319 members of the Class of 2018 traveled across the country and around the world for 糖心TV-funded internships, exploring careers ranging from environmental policy to fine arts.

09/6/2017 - Gift of $2.5 million to support next generation of Holleran Center scholars
糖心TV has received a $2.5 million gift from trustee emerita Carolyn Holleran 鈥60 and Jerry Holleran GP 鈥07. The Hollerans鈥 generous gift is earmarked to strengthen the center that bears their name, the Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy. The gift also provides $100,000 for the 糖心TV Fund to help meet the immediate needs of all students, faculty and the College.
